Real World Experience
Students will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on projects that simulate the entrepreneurial journey. They will brainstorm and develop their own business ideas, create business plans, and even pitch their concepts to local business leaders and mentors. Through partnerships with community businesses and entrepreneurs, students will gain invaluable insights into the challenges and rewards of running a business. By working on real projects and receiving feedback from industry professionals, students will develop practical skills and confidence, preparing them to succeed in any future entrepreneurial endeavor.

Entrepreneurship
(Online Program)
Includes a Capstone Project
This is a 10 week program with one 90min class a week.
Students systematically go through the process of starting a business all the way from ideation, market research to brand building and sales. They dive into hands-on projects, create innovative business ideas, and develop action plans in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Through activities like pitch competitions, design sprints, and mentorship from real entrepreneurs, students feel the energy and excitement of launching a start-up. This immersive experience fosters creativity, resilience, and a passion for entrepreneurship, preparing them to thrive in the fast-paced world of business.

Negotiations

Students will learn business basics, develop negotiation skills through role-playing, and participate in interactive workshops on communication and leadership. The class teaches essential skills through interactive activities and role-playing exercises. Students learn how to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and reach mutually beneficial agreements. They practice real-world scenarios, develop confidence in their negotiating abilities, and gain valuable insights from guest speakers and mentors. This fun and engaging course prepares students to navigate negotiations in everyday life and future business endeavors.

Public Speaking

The Program includes a dynamic public speaking course designed for middle schoolers. Students will learn essential public speaking skills through interactive workshops, role-playing, and presentations. They will practice crafting and delivering speeches, receive constructive feedback, and build confidence in speaking before an audience. This course ensures that students develop strong communication abilities, empowering them to effectively present their ideas and excel in any setting.

Our
Story
Anand Sundaram, is the founder and Chief MBA'er at MBA for Kids. Anand has an undergrad and Master's degree in Telecom Engineering and an MBA from the Haas School of Business, and 24 years as an executive in the Telecom Industry. He is passionate about starting business and life skill education at a young age, and as he coaches his own son through the process, he opened the first MBA for kids center to help empower the interest in entrepreneurship and business in middle schoolers around Naperville.
